AWANA

Inglewood's AWANA Ministry meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. in The Hole during the regular calendar school year (August - May). There are four age groups for children to participate:  Puggles (age 2); Cubbies (ages 3-5); Sparks (K -grade 2); and T&T (grades 3-6).  AWANA, which stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed is a Bible verse memorization program that equips and disciples children by emphasizing the importance of "Hiding God's Word in your heart!"  Additionally, the children's choir program (for grades 1-6) has now been incorporated into the AWANA program.

HOW DO YOU GET STARTED?  It's easy - you can join AWANA anytime!  There is a $15 start-up fee that covers your child's uniform (vest or t-shirt), your books, and your book bag.  There is also a yearly fee of $5 that helps to provide snacks, theme night parties, and merchandise for the store (clubbers earn AWANA bucks throughout the semester to redeem on "store nights").  If you are interested in learning more about our AWANA program, contact the church office or our AWANA Commander, Mrs. Shea King.
