Since November of 1979, the Meals-on-Wheels program of Inglewood Baptist Church has served hot, nutricious meals to the elderly and homebound in the 37216 area of East Nashville.  Operating out of the Burrus House property (adjacent to the church) meals are delivered by volunteers on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays.  A $1 donation is asked for, but if the recipient is unable to pay, the meal is free.  For more information on this ministry, please contact the Burrus House at 226-7643 between the hours of 8:00 - 11:00 a.m. on the days meals are prepared.
